We have rewarding volunteering opportunities in our day clubs, community groups and cafes across Wiltshire. However, there are a few areas where we need support more urgently. Currently these are:

  • Mill Street Club in Trowbridge where we need more volunteer cooks to join the rota. You'd be preparing a freshly cooked lunch for 20 from high quality ingredients - weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, it's up to you.

  • Day club volunteers at Old Silk Works in Warminster. We're planning to open an extra day later in the year to meet a growing local demand so will have opportunities to join the team on Mondays. It's a hugely rewarding role in a lovely 'family'.

  • Handyperson at Old Silk Works in Warminster and Mill Street Club in Trowbridge with all-round DIY skills. Ideally available as and when the need arises. Varied tasks such as putting up shelves and fixing leaky taps.

  • Corsham Memory Shed A weekly group for people who love practical projects, woodworking and working with tools. If you're handy and can spare Wednesday afternoons during spring, summer and autumn, we'd love to meet you!
  • Amesbury Music, Movement and Memory Cafe A hybrid group that sings, exercises or meets to socialize on Monday afternoons at Methodist Hall.

  • Mildenhall Music and Movement for the Mind. A popular group that offers both Music and Movement sessions on Tuesday mornings at the village hall (near Marlborough).

  • Harnham Music, Movement and memory cafe. Another hybrid group that sings, exercises or meets for a general catch up on Thursday mornings at St George's Hall.

  • Wednesday volunteers, Mill Street in Trowbridge. Hugely rewarding role where you will be chatting with members, joining in or leading small group activities, and helping to serve refreshments. Any special talents or skills that can enrich the day will be welcomed and of course you'll be well fed with a home-cooked lunch.
