Key staff

Alzheimer's Support employs around 150 people and our success is built on the passion, experience and commitment of our staff, most of them part-time, who share a deep understanding of dementia and the needs of those affected by it. Our senior managers are listed below along with details of their teams.
 

Chief Executive Officer

Sarah Marriott

Sarah leads Alzheimer's Support with energy and vision underpinned by a great commitment to people affected by dementia, to our staff and volunteer teams. She was appointed in 2021 and was formerly our Head of Community Services. Email Sarah

   

 

Head of Registered Services

Monique Bentley

Head of Comms, Engagement & Fundraising

Stephany Bardzil

Steph and her team inspire people to support Alzheimer's Support. She also leads on dementia awareness and our bi-annual regional conference. Grant Newton

Grant, shortlisted for UK Dementia Care Manager of the Year in 2016, runs our four day clubs with managers Sharon Cooper (Mill Street), Carol Gazzard (Sidmouth St), and Louise Gover (Old Silk Works).  A keen photographer, he takes most of the photographs for Alzheimer's Support and is the proud owner of therapy dogs Higby and Dottie.
