People living with dementia can still enjoy the process of painting, drawing and being creative, and feel a sense of achievement with their finished work. Our first art group started in Pewsey in 2013 and since then we have added a second group in Holt and will soon be opening another in Lyneham.

All groups are lead by experienced artists or art therapists. Family carers are encouraged to attend as full members of the group, creating their own pieces of art and benefitting from the creative group atmosphere.

Since starting in 2013, our Pewsey group has held three local exhibitions of work and in 2015 the group's collage of a Christmas robin was chosen at local MP Claire Perry's official Christmas card.

Our art groups are supported by the Wiltshire Community Foundation and Morrisons Foundation but we do have to make a small charge to meet the costs of materials.
