Warminster art group meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month in Lakeside Community Centre in the lovely Lakeside Pleasure Grounds. It's led by artist Jane Greenwood and organised by our Community Services Coordinator Vanessa Long.

The group is currently closed due to lockdown but will reopen in December.

Our art groups are friendly, relaxing, therapeutic and fun!  People living with dementia and a family carer create their own art projects under Jane's guidance. We work at a leisurely pace with plenty of time for conversation and connection.  No previous experience of art is necessary and everyone works at their own pace. Activities include painting, drawing, collage, printing, crafts, clay modelling and more.

Family carers are encouraged to join in to create in their own right and trained volunteers are on hand to lend support as needed.  Please note we normally charge £6 per couple to cover the cost of materials.

Keeping everyone safe

Our groups are exempt from the Rule of Six and our procedures are approved by Public Health England. Read about how we are keeping everyone safe in our Covid-specific Risk Assessment for Community Groups.
