5th May 2021

People living with dementia in Wiltshire are invited to meet others, share experiences and find out more about the condition at a new online course run by Alzheimer's Support.

Over three Monday mornings we will be bringing people together to talk about life after diagnosis of any type of dementia.

Those taking part will be able to share their own experiences, find out more about dementia and connect with others in a similar situation.

The After Diagnosis sessions include:

  • Why am I having memory problems, with Sheila Ashley (a regular trainer with Alzheimer's Support)

  • Communication and other challenges, with Sheila Ashley

  • Sharing your experiences and discussing ways of coping, with Paul Whitby (Alzheimer's Support trustee and retired clinical psychologist)

We'll be meeting via Zoom - and we can support you to get started if this is new to you.

The course starts on Monday 10th May and is on between 10am and 11.30am.

To find out more, and to see if this is suitable for you or a relative, please telephone course organiser Kate Sharpe on 01380 739055. Or email Kate
