This relaxed and friendly training course for family carers in Wiltshire will be held on Thursday mornings between 5th September and 10th October.

The course is a great way to find out more about dementia and what the person you care for might be experiencing. There will be ideas and information about how to support them while looking after yourself too. Our team of facilitators are all experts in their field and experienced in running sessions for carers both online and in person. The presentations are informal with plenty of time for questions and discussion.

 Recent feedback from carers

The course is really good. So much useful information. I have realised that I do some things wrong, but I also do lots of things right which is very comforting. Every person who interacts with someone with dementia should do this course.

I thoroughly recommend this. It was so helpful.
We have appreciated the level of instruction and friendliness in just the first two weeks. So much of what we have already learnt has been of so much help to us, and sharing the information with our family has gone some way to easing our situation.
Really good to realise that I’m not the only one, and that how I feel is normal.
