Alzheimer's Support is bringing Singing for the Brain to Trowbridge next month in response to popular demand.

The new therapeutic singing group - the charity's fifth - will meet on Monday afternoons at the charity's premises in Mill Street, and will be led by the multi-talented musician and singing teacher David Moss.

Alzheimer' Support CEO Babs Harris said: "We are so pleased to be opening another Singing for the Brain group, and grateful to Trowbridge Area Board for giving us the funding to do this. Singing for the Brain is one of most popular of the activities we provide. Even people who do not consider themselves to be good singers can benefit so much from singing together in a group and we know that people living with dementia and their carers both really value the camaraderie and spirit of the sessions."
