Thousands flocked to Trowbridge Park at the weekend for Alzheimer's Support's annual Family Fun Day. The fundraising party in the park featured more than 40 stalls and attractions for all the family, a full line up of live music, and food stalls.

Performers included The Terry Hill Big Band, Sounding It Out, Clarity Choir, The Likes and Holt Morris Dancers.. Trowbridge Song Project ran a choir workshop for absolute beginners, who then gave a relaxed performance of the song they had learned from scratch.  Children queued for a chance to handle snakes and other exotic creatures at the Tropical Discoveries tent, and let off steam on the giant bouncy slide and gladiator jousting.

Volunteer coordinator for Alzheimer's Support Annie Clayton said: "We had tremendous support from so many people on the day and we couldn't have done it without them so I'd like to thank everyone who helped out."

More than £5,000 was raised during the day. The money raised will go towards Alzheimer's Support's work with people living with dementia and their family carers.
