Love practical projects? We need you!

For people who have been practical and enjoyed working with tools, dementia can mean it is harder to keep up with hobbies and 'being useful' at home and in the garden. Our Memory Shed supports men - and women - who have always enjoyed wood work and using tools to carry on creating.

We meet every Wednesday afternoon at Potley and Pockeridge Men's Shed, where we use specially adapted tools as well as the real thing where appropriate, to make items to sell and take home. And we're planning a second Friday group to open later in the summer.

We're looking for a couple of people to join us! It's a relaxed friendly group. There is usually a cuppa on the go and the companionship and conversation is as important as the finished product.

If you'd like to help out, normally between 2pm and 4pm each week, we would love to hear from you!
