In Memory of Donna Whitney

In lieu of flowers, I would like to invite people to donate to Alzheimer's Support in Donna's memory.

There are many reasons why Alzheimer’s Support was so helpful, but in a nutshell, the organisation helped me to carry on working through the earlier stages of Donna’s illness when I simply could not afford to retire. 

Alzheimer Support provided advice on benefits, financial and legal matters, and got Donna out and about to provide social stimulation and companionship on a regular basis when she would otherwise have withdrawn into herself.

Donna really enjoyed going out with her support workers Mandy, Nikki and Cath for walks, often followed by tea and cake. I shall be forever grateful to them and Mill Street day club for all they did for me and Donna.
