Elisabeth (née Jackson, originally from Chesham Bucks), once very active and involved in Wiltshire life, lived in Devizes, Westbury Leigh and Warminster, now sadly lost to Alzheimer's. Much loved wife of the late Harry Harvey, beloved mother of Annabel, Paul, Graham and the late Simon Harvey, beloved grandmother. She will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends. She was a determined, mischievous, strong willed woman with a great passion for life. Elisabeth married a dashing Kiwi airman and they shared a long loving life devoted to each other. She loved horses and dogs and was always happiest when with them. She was a brilliant mother, encouraging and supportive; she found joy in her children's lives, embracing her eldest sons passion for motorbikes and all his many biker friends. Mum enjoyed many months of excellent support from Alzheimer’s Support Wiltshire at The Old Silk Works Club, Warminster. She considered it her club, and went as often as she could "to help them". Mum was also surrounded by many caring and understanding neighbours who would look out for her when she lost track of time and went knocking in the midnight hours. We, her family cannot thank you all enough. Finally Mum went to OSJCT Goodson Lodge in Feb 2021 where she received excellent kind and loving care. As a family we are grateful for OJSCT's excellent care and know that staying with you was the best thing for her in her final year.
