My dearest Nanny Paulette, aged 76, has vascular dementia, one of the most common forms of the disease.

My Grandad, aged 77, has progressed into becoming her full-time carer and, together, we are witnessing her slipping further into the confusing and hugely overwhelming grasp of dementia.

The physical, emotional and psychological impacts this disease has caused, and is still causing, include life altering, crippling and progressively difficult to manage effects.

This skydive is to raise awareness and money for a charity who support not only those who live with dementia but also for those who care for them. Rosie Tozer
