Henrietta Mackinnon

I work as a ‘Movement for the Mind’ coach for Alzheimer’s Support in Wiltshire.
I am passionate about helping people with dementia and their carers, offering them the opportunity for reconnection and laughter, combining stimulating light exercise with music and fun. Alzheimer’s Support relies on significant fundraising to sustain all the activities and support they provide in Wiltshire.
I would like to help with their fundraising and so I have decided to run 3 marathons in March and April this year. Two of them will be on consecutive days along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset on 23/24th March and the third will be the London Marathon on 28th April.
As most of you know I am a keen runner but I have rarely asked for sponsorship. This will be my 15th London Marathon and as I get older the training becomes harder. I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me to help Alzheimer’s Support. Many of us know friends or families who have been affected by dementia so please donate in any way you can. Every step of each Marathon will be in aid of ‘Memory’.
