Create your own fundraising page

First of all, thank you for getting to this point. This is where you can set up your own fundraising page which you can then share with friends, family and colleagues. You can track how much money you have raised for Alzheimer's Support and keep people updated on your progress. Please read these notes before setting up your page below.

Tips for creating your page

You'll first be asked to select where you want the money to raise to go from the drop down list below, eg A Walk to Remember or Skydives2024. If you don't know please select Donate - general fundraising.

Choosing a title for your page

Keep the title short and personal to you, eg Becky's Skydive. This will automatically generate a web address (URL) when you click in the next box.

Summary text

The summary text should be just a few words saying what you are doing and why. It will be seen by visitors to our website but won't be visible to people you share your page with direct.

Whole story section

This is what your supporters will see when they open your page, so

include all the details you want them to know about your challenge, event or project
say why you are fundraising for Alzheimer's Support, or if you are fundraising for a particular service, eg one of our day clubs
encourage your friends and family to support you with a donation
end with a thank you!

Adding photographs

Remember to add a picture to make your page stand out! The first photo you will be asked for is a square profile picture. It is important to add this when you first set up the page. (You will be able to edit the page later to add a wide banner image to the top of the page.)

What happens next

After you have submitted your page there may be a short delay before it goes live. We aim to moderate pages as quickly as possible and you'll receive an email notification when your page is available to share.

If you are not already registered on our website you will receive an email asking you to register. Please follow the link to complete your registration and create a profile, including adding the square-shaped photograph that will be the profile picture on your fundraising page. This will make it much easier to edit your page. Please include a phone number in your details so we can contact you with any queries.

If you would like us to email you more detailed instructions to print out please let us know and include a phone number if you would like us to call you back.

Online shop - Refunds

Goods ordered through the website will be despatched within 2 working days. While we cannot guarantee delivery times and dates UK delivery is normally 1-2 working days after despatch. In the event of a delayed delivery we regret we cannot offer compensation. The services provided by our carrier are outside our control.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may request a full refund or replacement within 7 days of receiving the items. You must notify us of this by phone or email if you wish to make a return and send back the goods in their original condition within five working days. We are unable to process a refund until we receive the goods and we cannot accept any liability for goods we do not receive. Upon receipt of the goods we will either replace or process a refund according to your requirements and this will be done within five working days. We regret we cannot control how long it takes your card issuer to credit your account. If the goods you received were faulty or damaged, we will compensate you for the return postage.
