Sandra, a devoted fan of the iconic band Take That who lives with dementia, recently saw her dream come true when she attended their 'This Life' concert in Southampton. It was an unforgettable experience made possible by the thoughtful actions of her support network.

Sandra and support worker Gemma have formed a close bond over time, and recognising this connection Sandra's husband Mike generously gifted his concert ticket so Gemma could share the memorable experience with her instead.

He said: "Sandra had just the best time and Gemma was brilliant looking after her in a stadium filled with 34,000 fans. She is a huge fan of Take That and is still talking about it now."

Support worker Gemma Oxford said: "Sandra had a fantastic night and I was honoured to take and support her. It was a long night but she coped fantastically. She knew all the Take That songs and sang her little heart out, it was so lovely to witness. It was a brilliant evening with a beautiful lady who rocked the show."

Hayley Winder, care co-ordinator for Salisbury and Amesbury said: " The concert was a highlight for Sandra and thanks to Mike's generosity and Gemma's support her dream of seeing Take That live in concert became a reality. It is an experience they will both cherish forever."
