Get involved In memory giving Celebrate a life There are several ways in which you can celebrate the life of a loved one while supporting our ongoing work. In Memory fund pages An 'In Memory of' page is a popular way to let the memory of your relative or friend live on. As well as being an online memorial which you can share memories, stories and photographs with family and friends, the funds raised through the page can help others affected by dementia and help our work to continue in their memory. You can include details of a funeral or thanksgiving service. The page can also work well if you are fundraising in memory of a loved one and you have an event to focus on and promote. The page is easy to share online so can be a good way to publicise and gather support for your event. The memorial fund page is created and maintained by you as a space to remember your relative in your own way. Create a memorial page Donations in lieu of flowers Asking for donations in lieu of flowers is another way to give family and friends the opportunity to do something positive in a person's memory. Donations received in memory of someone we supported are very special to us as they remind of the inspirational people and families we have got to know. People can make a donation online or by cheque made out to Alzheimer's Support that can be sent to our address.
