We thought that we would celebrate our milestone birthdays (Sarah 50; Olly 21; Eddie 18) with a worthwhile memorable event.
Raising money for Alzheimer's Support as it turns 30 seemed ideal.

Working for this amazing charity for over eight years, I know first hand how important the support we provide is.

I also know that the money we fundraise will be spent directly in paying for the running costs of the activity groups.

We know from all the feedback from members over the years, that these provide a lifeline to both those diagnosed with a dementia, and their families. The need to have the social connection is as crucial now during the Covid-19 pandemic, as it has always been. In the virtual Music and Movement sessions we have waved our scarves, shaken our cans of food, bashed our wooden spoons and rowed with the rolling pin! But most importantly over 80 people per week have had fun.

Hopefully before too long we will be welcoming people back to face to face meetings, and we will dance, sing and create art together again. The Music, Movement, Art, Café, Muddy Boots etc groups will once again provide a much-needed time of laughter, stimulation and sense of belonging.

If you can sponsor my boys and I to jump out of a plane and plunge through the sky, in order to raise the necessary funds to continue making this all possible, we would be very grateful!

Thank you for your help
