Experience the thrill of a lifetime with a tandem skydive for Alzheimer's Support.

Once again we have teamed up with Go Skydive to offer places on a dedicated Alzheimer's Support jump day on 7th April 2024. If this date doesn't work for you, you can book a jump on a date that suits you!

If you have always wanted to experience the exhilaration of jumping out of a plane why not join our team and skydive to support people living with dementia here in Wiltshire.

I have always been petrified of heights and wouldn’t even step onto a plane let alone jump out of one, but in September 2020 I did the 10,000ft skydive in aid of Alzheimer’s Support. That was the best experience to happen to me so far. Now it's your turn!

Your skydive for dementia

The 10,000 ft tandem jump will take place at Old Sarum, near Salisbury. After 30 seconds of freefall, when you'll be travelling through the air at 125mph, the parachute will open and you'll experience amazing views across the Wiltshire landscape as you descend.

The day starts with a full training briefing with your personal skydive instructor before getting kitted out and taking off in a Cessna Super Cargomaster.

GoSkydive is one of the UK's leading skydive companies, and specialises in first-time tandem skydives. So you know you will be in safe, highly experienced hands.

Fundraising support for your skydive

When you have signed up you will receive dedicated support from Rachel Fear, our Community Fundraising Manager.

There are so many ways to fundraise, from traditional sponsorship and online donations from friends and family (they will be so impressed you are doing this!) to bake sales, office raffles and many more. You can set up your own fundraising page on our website to send to everyone you know, telling them about your challenge and why you are doing it. Easy peasy - let's get fundraising.

The T's and C's

There will be more of these on the GoSkydive site, but the important things to know from us are:

  • You will need to pay a £50 deposit to GoSkydive to secure your place
  • You will need to raise at least £350 in fundraising three weeks before the jump date. Alzheimer's Support will pay the balance of your jump fee from this so the more you raise the more goes to support our work
  • There are some weight restrictions and you need to be over 16 years old
  • Please remember to read the terms and conditions on the Go Skydive website before registering
  • Jumps will be rescheduled in case of poor weather
So, join our Skydive Challenge and do something amazing to support people living with dementia in 2024.
