This relaxed and friendly training course for family carers will be held on Monday mornings from 20th September until 25th October.

We'll be meeting online from the comfort of your own home, so you won't need to travel, and we can help you get on to Zoom if you do not have experience of this.

We have been running and adapting this course for many years. It's a great way to find out more about dementia and what the person you care for might be experiencing, and about how to support them while looking after yourself too. Our team of facilitators are all experts in their field and very experienced in running sessions for carers both online and in person. The presentations are informal with plenty of time for questions and discussion.

COURSE FULL - please call 01380 739055 for information about further courses.

 Recent feedback from carers
I thoroughly recommend this. It was so helpful.
Some really useful practical ideas, better than any information I have had from OTs visiting the house
Really good to realise that I’m not the only one, and that how I feel is normal.

I expected to learn about the illness and the impact it can have on individuals and their families. The course surpassed expectations because of the amount of practical advice and information shared. It was particularly helpful and reassuring to speak with others, and to hear what they have to say from their own experiences.

Sorry, this event is now sold out.
