Communities in Wiltshire are hosting a wealth of events to mark Dementia Action Week, 20th - 27th May. Not all the events listed here are organised by Alzheimer's Support - and some of them are before or after the week itself!
Whether you are directly affected by dementia or just want to find out more, why not go along to an event near you. 

Friday 17th May

Open Doors Malmesbury, Malmesbury Abbey, 10.30am to 3pm. 

Information, talks and activities, including a Music for the Mind taster session at 12pm and Movement for the Mind taster at 2pm.  Dementia Adviser Kirstie Blair and other members of the Alzheimer's Support team will be on hand to chat informally.

All welcome to pop on headphones to dance to carefully selected tracks and enjoy the benefits of music!

Have a go at table tennis, badminton or short mat bowls - free event.

Coffee, cake and friendly conversation, all welcome.

Virtual Dementia Tour, Savernake Care Home, Marlborough

Party in the Park, Westbury Gardens, Bradford on Avon. 

A community celebration to round off the week with information, music, singing, dance, stalls and refreshments. Dementia Adviser Claire Mitchell will be on hand to offer advice. All proceeds to Alzheimer's Support.
