Alzheimer's Support is Wiltshire's leading provider of dementia services.
Our award-winning organisation already punches above its weight and recent expansion means we are recruiting a Communications Coordinator to help build our profile still further.

We have a great story to tell. We make a difference every day to the lives of people living with dementia and their family carers. As a Wiltshire-based organisation we are close to our clients and nimble on our feet as we develop new services and innovative approaches to dementia care.

The successful candidate will work with our Head of Comms to create and share the content that helps key audiences to understand our work better - and inspires them to support us.

We are looking for a communications graduate or someone with experience in journalism, media or a comms environment. We will also consider a talented individual without a relevant degree who is keen to develop their career in charity communications.

Whatever your background you will need excellent writing and proofing skills, a good knowledge of social media, familiarity with managing a website and databases, plus an empathetic approach and the ability to work as part of a small supportive team.

This is a permanent position, with benefits including employer pension contributions and a health plan.

Hours: up to 25 per week, negotiable

Starting salary: £19,389 - £20,820 pro-rata

Closing date: 7th April 2019

Interview date: 10th April 2019
