We are constantly bowled over by the imaginative ideas of our supporters. During lockdown we have loved the virtual fundraising ideas and challenges people have come up with to help us keep services open.

While many organised events are on hold there is still so much you can do to make a difference for people with dementia.

From sponsored headshaves, to making things to sell, to virtual runs, climbs and triathalons, every idea is a good one if it raises much-needed funds! If you're not sure and you have a birthday or anniversary coming up why not set up a fundraising page on Facebook and ask friends to donate?

The important thing about fundraising is that it should be fun. Choose something that you know you'll enjoy doing. And if you like a challenge, choose something you haven’t done before but have always wanted to!

Then create your fundraising page to let your friends and family know what you are doing - and tell us too so we can help you promote your idea and boost your fundraising.

    Keep in touch

Let us know what you are doing! We can help with T-shirts and sponsorship forms and advice. We can also help you to promote your event, from logos for posters and flyers to template press releases.

You can get in touch on 01225 776481 or email us.

    Spread the word

Remember to let everyone know about your fundraising. You can set up your own page to share with family and friends. And include us on your social media. Mention us on Twitter @AlzheimersSupp and on Facebook AlzheimersSupportWiltshire. We'll help spread the word too.
