Tony's on Tour Challenge

Former cycling champion Tony Wills, who lives with dementia in Wiltshire, is cycling 100 miles this summer to raise funds for Alzheimer's Support.

Tony, 85 years young, has pledged to cycle 100 miles on his static bike to coincide with the Tour de France. And he wants YOU to join him.

Tony won his first ever race in 1955 and went on to compete all over Europe and represent the South West England in the Milk Race of 1960. Dementia has not dampened his enthusiasm for cycling and he aims to complete his challenge on his specialist virtual Tour de France bike in his garage.

And he would love to see others taking to the open road to raise funds to support the charity which is making such a difference to his life.

How to get involved:

Plan your own route. It can be any distance, indoors or outdoors, and on any day between 29th August and 20th September (the dates of the Tour de France). The choice is yours!
Set up your fundraising page - there's no minimum fundraising target or registration fee.
