The tireless work of volunteers Sue Mason and Rachel Deakin on the Sidmouth Street garden in Devizes has earned Alzheimer's Support not one, but two awards.

The garden has been awarded 2nd place in the annual Devizes In Bloom competition and earned an 'Outstanding' grade from the Royal Horticultural Society.

The RHS judges called the garden at the rear of the club 'exquisite and tranquil' and said: "The garden offers a place where people can relax and enjoy the colourful plants and various items of artwork. The garden was therapeutic and a delight to visit."

Alzheimer's Support CEO Babs Harris said: "This is the fifth year in a row that the Sidmouth Street garden has won an award. We are very grateful for the recognition, and for the hard work of the volunteers who originally built the garden, and now maintain it. We have had several teams of gardeners over the years and they have all been fantastic and a real asset to the club."
