For the 4th year running the Sidmouth Street Club walled garden and its two volunteer gardeners have gained a top Devizes in Bloom award. The garden has also been judged 'outstanding' byteh Royal Horticultural Society for the second year running.

RHS judges described the garden as "a beautiful and tranquil garden oasis ....every possible conceivable space adorned with pots, climbers or artwork .....a place for contemplation and peaceful reflection ...therapeutic and beneficial....an absolute joy".

The garden was a blank patch of concrete a few years ago until it was transformed by a team of volunteers. For the past two years it has the garden has been ended by Sarah Maccall and Mary Weston. They have recently handed over to Rachel and Sue who of course are feeling no pressure
