Reopening date to be confirmed. To find out more about our other activity groups, please click here

The group will give people living with dementia and their carers the chance to be involved in gardening projects in the park’s sensory garden. Activities will include  pruning, helping with digging, weeding and planting, but the group is very relaxed, and members will be able to just enjoy sitting and chatting in a natural environment.

Everyone can work at their own pace in the group and keen gardeners and absolute beginners are equally welcome. Each session also includes social time where members can chat over tea, coffee and biscuits.

Projects include a herb garden, an alpine area and growing edibles such as carrots and peas.

Please complete the form below if you are interested in coming along. Sarah Marriott, head of community services will then be in touch to tell you more. Click on the enquire button to get started.
