Everyone is invited to add a lead to Alzheimer's Support's Memory Tree in Salisbury Cathedral Cloister on Friday 20th September.

Visitors can add words to their leaf in memory of a loved one, or to record a special memory at the event which marks World Alzheimer's Day.

The tree has been crafted by members of our Warminster Art Group - and there will be plenty of extra leaves for anyone who wishes to write a memory to hang on a branch.

Some people write the name of a loved one who has passed away, while others may wish to share a memory from childhood or a time or place that is special to them. Once a memory is written down it becomes all the more potent! We will keep all the leaves safe for future years.

Volunteers and staff from Alzheimer's Support will be on hand between 11am and 2pm to talk about any aspect of living with dementia, and refreshments will be available.
