Our offices in Trowbridge and Devizes are open for anyone to drop in to find out more about dementia and our services.
We provide information to people living with dementia and their carers, professionals and the general public.
Visitors will find:
- Staff on hand to give advice, signpost to other organisations, provide a listening ear and offer simple advocacy.
- A library of books and DVDs which can be borrowed
- Factsheets on many aspects of living with dementia produced by the Alzheimer's Society. These factsheets can also be downloaded. Click here for a list of downloadable factsheets http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/site/scripts/home_info.php?homepageID=23

Raising Awareness
We raise awareness of dementia through information stalls at public events and public talks to a range of organisations. If you would like to arrange a talk on dementia and/or the work of Alzheimer’s Support please click here or contact 01225 776481..
We produce a range of relevant leaflets and a quarterly newsletter which is distributed to carers, professionals, funding bodies and other interested persons.
A copy of our latest newsletter can be downloaded here.
We aim to promote best practice among carers by providing training courses and educational sessions as well as emotional support through carers' groups and one-to-one advice from a care co-ordinator.
We also offer training for staff groups from nursing homes and domiciliary agencies.
