Alzheimer's Support is a registered charity founded in 1990 in response to a locally identified need for support for dementia and their Carers. The aim of Alzheimer's Support is to provide a range of flexible services to support people with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia’s and their Carers.
Alzheimer's Support works closely with the Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Care NHS Trust, Department of Adult and Community Services and Primary Care Trusts. We are now registered and inspected as a Domiciliary Care Service Provider and have developed a further range of services which we can provide on their behalf or independently with families as requested. Alzheimer's Support is one of the main providers of care for people with mild to moderate dementia, assisting them to maintain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.
We work alongside Carers throughout the course of the illness by providing information and emotional support. We reflect client individuality by responding with flexible services inside and outside the home, 7 days a week.
